Frank Turner and other musicians play impromptu gigs in support of squatters occupying closed Soho bar - London - News - London Evening Standard

Musicians are backing squatters occupying a famous music venue which was closed for redevelopment last month by performing impromptu gigs.
Earlier this week singer-songwriter Frank Turner made a surprise appearance at the 12Bar, located in Denmark Street, and stood on a table while strumming an acoustic guitar.
This evening Bournemouth based rock band Mountain Feet, Hearse Pile Up and indie-pop London band Those Unfortunates will be performing sets.

Activists, who are calling themselves ‘Bohemians 4 Soho’, have been squatting in the building since it closed last month for re-development.
